About Us

Founded in 2014, Scuba Weed Control is a Minnesota-based, DNR-certified company that has helped hundreds of lakeshore owners in Minnesota and Wisconsin achieve weed-free lakefront access for the past nine years.​ Unlike harvesters or chemical treatments, our unique method uses a team of PADI-certified scuba divers who pull weeds by the root and dispose of them off-site, where the natural waste is repurposed as compost. For some commercial or larger jobs, we use a Weedoo conveyor vessel (a boat with a conveyor belt) to efficiently clear all weeds from a targeted area in any part of the lake.​We partner with both residential and commercial clients. Commercially, we specialize in creating open channels for watercraft and clearing specific high-traffic areas on the lake, such as public beaches, fishing piers, boat launches, sand bars, and more.
